eDialogos finalist in the 2009 European eGovernment Awards

eDialogos, the eParticipation project implemented by IMC Technologies that led to the development of IMC Technologies homonymous methodology and platform, was a finalist for the 2009 European eGovernment Awards. IMC Technologies was invited to participate in the final phase of the awards in Malmo, Sweden and present the case at a high-level Ministerial eGovernment Conference.

eDialogos: the Greek nomination for the European eGovernment Awards 2009

The Municipality of Trikala in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior proposed the e-Participation solution eDialogos (www.edialogos.gr) for the European eGovernment Awards. It was developed by IMC Technologies (www.imc.com.gr) and it will compete among some 250 best practices in eGovernment from other European countries. The European eGovernment Awards are conferred by the European Commission and they are the top European awards in the field of eGovernment.

IMC Technologies participates in the Linking Open Data Triplification Challenge 2009

IMC Technologies has submitted its participation to the 2009 Linking Open Data Triplification Challenge, an international contest aiming to promote widespread adoption of the Semantic Web and Linked Data initiatives. Prizes are awarded to the most promising triplifications of existing Web applications, Websites and data sets, under the condition that they will be released under an open source license so as to be usable by the community.
